I HAVE HELPED TWO OLD LADIES WHO NEVER KNEW HOW TO USE A COMPUTER TO BE ABLE TO TYPE E-MAILS, SURF THE NET, TYPE LETTERS AND HOW TO EVEN SWITCH A COMPUTER ON, BECAUSE BEFORE THEY WERE SO FRIGHTENED TO TOUCH A PC BECAUSE THEY THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BITE THEN AND NOW THEY ARE A WHIZZ. IT TOOK ME NO TIME AT ALL TO GET THESE TWO LADIES UP TO SPEED WITH THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY. At 30, working as an electrical foreman(sub contractor), overlooking a £5 million project; is challenging enough; dealing with people with vast experience in the construction industry. Daily duties involves dealing with the company office on hourly basis, main contractor site manager, architects, project manager, site representative, quality controller representative, company owner and arranging work four tradesmen; only on daily basis. keeping up with my little girls and my missus, and do some studies through skills train is a challenge but seems accustomed to it, and hoping to achieve more in the near future. I have been suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome for the last 3 years, being without a job or something to keep me occupied has been depressing to say the least. Have recently got a new job as a network technician with no experience thanks to the skills I have already learned in the first few units of my N+ and the knowledge of what I will be capable of when I have completed my CCNA and CCNP Even though I am working full time seven days a week, I have managed to continue the study and still doing it with very good success. I have done graduation in computers in 2002 considering that I haven't been in touch with computer studies I think I have done great. hope I can continue achieving my study goal and ultimately leading to a lot better job which would be a dream come true for me. thanks. At the moment I have to work almost 24/7, because I've got 8 months old baby and my wife back to work, so we have to work and look after baby together. But at this time I can manage my time well, I can find time to do my course and on top of that last three months I developed 2 programs for my company, which one of them is helping Restaurants Managers with forecasting and second one they can use for checking cashiers performance on daily basic. In both programs I used Excel and Visual Basic for Applications In the last couple of months I have been under a lot of pressure with my full time job working nearly twelve hours a day, seven days a week but still manage to do and submit my assignments.when I started the course I knew just a little bit about IT, but has gained a lot of knowledge on the course so far through my dedicated study with the time available to me. Well for me July has been a real significant month. As for one I have dusted my Skills train resources and gotten back on my study saddle. I will confess to haven been complacent in the past few months and even contemplated cancelling my subscription to the skillstrain programme. Then it suddenly struck me that I joined this course to gain something, Knowledge. And more importantly Knowledge that was going to equip me with vital skills to further my potential. After getting 90% on my first test I feel that I have studied very hard to get to that level. I have also been explaining small amounts to my partner and she has started to also get a understanding with the basics. My partner has just had a baby and its been difficult with a new born around but I have been working really hard to try and catch up with my course over the last month or so, and I am really starting to enjoy the N+ course, probably because its all stuff that I dont know and that I WANT to learn it. I have achieved 95% on my first attempt at TMA01 and feel great about it. I look forward to the next one. I have managed to complete all my a+ assignment questions and I am taking my exam wish me luck
