After suffering a severe Angina attack, which hospitalised me for a few weeks, I am now ready to attack my A+N+ course again, and to continue getting the results I look forward to so much. This set me back a little, but I have almost completed the modules, and now am eager to continue my studies. Many thanks to Skillstrain

Well, to be honest with you, not much, but still a little bit more then I expected from my self.

Well first of all decided to study very hard and in about week and a half time got through half of the first A+ book. Just a bit lazy to send TMAs one after another. But so far so good 90, 93, 90... now waiting for tma 4 to come back. (dont get 100 cause not a genius :) ). Still looking after my family (1 year old boy, my finance and dog :) ). And of course I'm the ONLY one who works... full time,BUT got great job. I work in Cisco call centre (yahoo! :)) CIN1 at the moment, but only started this job, so my plans are to finish probation time, then do CSE and then (a bit later) CCNA. I hope I will be able to combine Family, MCSA and CISCO!!

But there are lot more things that I try to do at the same time: playing guitar, making music. So its quite hard to do everything, cause after I come home from work there's not much time.

Before I started this courses I knew nothing about IT, was just good PC user. But now I REALLY ENJOY all this stuff. And I'm trying to do my best to get sorted with certifications and bring more money, more positive and better living into my family, and give them better future.

My main motivation for all this was, cause when we moved in UK (about 1.5 ago), we had so much trouble, we've been even homeless, because of fraud people (unfortunately it could happen everywhere). Changed 4 addresses in this period of time, because there were still a lot of problems and difficulties. And we where so fed up with all this situations, so as soon as we got sorted with all this problems and settled in Belfast, I decided to do something that will give us some stability and give us better future. Cause you know by yourselves, FAMILY is the MAIN THING!!

Thank You for Your time,

But have found a new lease of life and managed to do 4 pieces of coursework this month. resulting in 2 100 percents and one 93 percent. Awaiting my 5 the result this month.

Prior to doing the nplus course I had very basic computer knowledge,I have a full time job and have to study around this and my access is limited to a computer as at the moment I am using my partners who is also a full time student.I have recently submitted the first 2 test papers and achieved 100% on both of which I feel I have done well.I feel in the hard work I am putting in to this course is paying off as I am growing in confidence and knowledge.I am fully committed to this course and have already enrolled on the mcsa course of which will start on successfully completing the nplus course.

I am very happy with my life since I started my cause. I am 38 years of age, it took me long to decide my career, but the truth has came out, I started my A+ around mid Feb. 2008, and I am about completing my section 1, part A,with very good results for my TMA, at least 80%. This has giving me the courage to achieve my goals. I want to thank every one who support me to this level. I do hope I will have a job that is related to my career, so that will help me practically. Thanks SAMUEL.

Just going through London lite newspaper and saw an IT vacancy with immediate interview, I now decided to call for the interview just to test my ability, on sitting down infront of the interviewer I feel confident with what I have learnt with skillstrian college when I was answering the question;explaining operating system, differentiate between LAN and WAN, what do I understand by cache memory e.t.c . skillstrian college can turn illiterate to an IT guru, on completing my course I will be guru, thanks skillstrian

I am a yuong married polish person looking for a long term future in England and the I.T.Industry. I would like to be considered for student of the month, because it would greatly encourage me to study more and complete the course work faster. I find it very difficult to do my I.T.Work, because I work 50hrs a week and I find it hard to write and understand English. I do 8-10hrs, sometimes more on course work, but I am sure with encouragement and commitment and studying every spare moment on your Skillstrain I.T.Course. It will give me and my family a good future.

I lost my dad in December 2007, so I couldn't continue with my studies. But I have been able to put myself together and I have started back my course. I am determined to seat my A+ certification by June this year and I believe I will pass

Well my story is that since Xmas I was feeling rather low in my self as I had recently lost my job and then I thought it was time to go for my life ambition on entering the I.T industry. it all started as hobbie when I was 11 over the years of becoming confident friends and family kept telling me I should take course and become certificated but due to my gcse's and my study behaviour and under-achievement I thought id never go through with it and finish anything. then losing many jobs, so after Xmas I ended up being very low and didn't know what else to do. my partner and parents all kicked me tail and said its time to do what you've always wanted, to be an I.T engineer so I called skillstrian and the next week I was on a course first 3 of my tma's were ok between 80 and 90% marking but my goal is 100% I want to do well. my achievement is that the last three I have anded in have all been 100% and im starting to feel alive again this weekend im going to put flyers out in my local village advertising there is a computer handy man and im mainly going to do this for more hands on experience. I thank skillstrain for being able to provide me with course materials that are easy to understand and very interesting I have learnt new things and also reminded me of things that I have learnt previously.

I work as a bar manager, so I'm away from home most days & nights. I make time to study and play with my 6 month old son in my free time as much as I can as well as helping my partner out. I have found it difficult to study as most live classes are in the evening, but I do check out the recorded ones as often as possible. I have used my new knowledge of computer with friends, family and at work which has resulted in a bit of a geek status. I will push on to finish my course so that I can junior a secure future.
